A total of 433 Apprentice vacancies have been announced across various states including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Educational Qualification
Technician Apprentice
Candidates must possess a 3-Year Full-Time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with minimum:
- 50% Marks for General/OBC/EWS
- 45% Marks for SC/ST/PwBD
Eligible disciplines include:

- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Civil Engineering

Trade Apprentice
Candidates must have:
- Matriculation (10th Pass)
- Regular Full-Time 2-Year ITI Certificate recognized by NCVT/SCVT
Trades include:

- Machinist
Graduate Apprentice
Candidates must possess a Regular Full-Time Graduation Degree in disciplines such as:

- B.Com.

Data Entry Operator (DEO)
DEO (Fresher):

Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive:
- Stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961
- Additional ₹2,500 per month towards miscellaneous expenses from IOCL
Graduate and Technician Apprentices will also receive the Government share of stipend through the DBT mechanism wherever applicable.
Selection Process
Selection will be purely based on merit.

Training Duration
The apprenticeship training period will be:
12 Months
Completion of apprenticeship training does not guarantee regular employment in IOCL.

Final Step
After applying through NAPS/NATS:

- Select preferred State and three preferred locations.
- Ensure only one discipline code is selected.
