Stage 1: Written Examination
OMR-based test. The total marks and number of questions will be specified in the official notification.
Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Document Verification (DV)
Candidates shortlisted from the written exam are called for checking their physical measurements (Height, Chest, Weight) and verification of all original documents (Educational Certificates, Domicile, Caste Certificate, etc.).
Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
This stage involves performance tests, typically including running (race). The specific distance and time limits for male and female candidates will be detailed in the notification.
Stage 4: Final Merit List & Normalization
The final selection list is prepared based on the cumulative scores of the Written Examination (and sometimes PET performance), after applying the official normalization formula (if conducted in multiple shifts).
