Details
Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Online objective-type test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It tests General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Measurement of height, chest (for male candidates), and weight as per the prescribed standards of respective forces.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical activities such as running within the specified time. This stage is qualifying in nature.
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME)
Medical fitness check conducted by CAPFs to ensure candidates meet prescribed medical standards. RME is conducted for candidates who appeal against DME results.
Document Verification
Verification of original documents including educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, and other relevant documents.
