Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on 31 May 2026.

Nationality

Candidates must be:

  • Citizen of India, OR
  • Subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
  • Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962, OR
  • Person of Indian Origin migrated from specified countries with intention of permanent settlement.

Other Important Eligibility Conditions

  • Candidate must not have previously undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act.
  • Candidate must not be currently pursuing apprenticeship in any organization.
  • Candidates having one year or more job/training experience after graduation are not eligible.
  • Ex-Servicemen are not eligible for this apprenticeship program.
